Barn Joinery Lamp

This beam end was salvaged from a recently demolished 130 year old Ohio barn. You can see the wear and tear this old growth endured. The only way the powerful joint could be removed was with a modern saw. We decided to keep all of the character representing the artistry of the old and the immediacy of the new.

Upon acquisition, the beam end was thoroughly cleaned and treated. The outside was finished with a semi-gloss Poly Spar. A custom cut 1/4″ aluminum plate was prepared with a brushed finished and attached with recessed stainless steel screws.

This is truly one of a kind. It would look perfect in a den or family cave. The 3-way switch allows for the perfect light to be cast down on your favorite keepsake stored safely in the demolition cut of the base. Bird bell is not included.
